Kelly Boyles, Customer Service Director, Uniform Services, announced the 2014 Star Club award winners.  Star Club recognizes outstanding achievement by the Route Service Representatives in assigned performance goals.  The 2014 Star Club winner was Barry Brubaker.  Runners-up were Joel St. Clair, John Baer and John Adams.

Two Santa-sized stacks of Christmas-wrapped door prizes were distributed.  In an act of charity befitting the season, Joel St. Clair donated his Star Club cash award to the Angiosarcoma Awareness Fund. Angiosarcoma is a rare form of cancer that affects the lining of the blood vessels.  Thank you, Joel, for your generous spirit and example.

MC for the evening, Tracy Gibson, Human Resources Manager, announced several employee service milestones.  At the end of 2014, 42 employees in the two DuBois plants had reached ten or more years of service.

Williamsport, PA

On December 13th, almost 70 employees gathered at the Old Corner Hotel for a festive buffet and dinner theater.  The Old Corner Hotel is a Williamsport landmark and has been a favorite meeting place and watering hole for residents and visitors since the 1870's.  Pictures below show it in its nineteenth century heyday and as it graces the current Williamsport dining scene.  And what better place could there be for a dinner theater murder mystery set in a 1920's speakeasy!

The evening began with a few words from Joe Liparulo, Healthcare Linen Services Regional Operations Manager.  He thanked the employees for their dedication during the year.  He emphasized the strong work ethic that he sees in the rural areas where Paris has its plants.  Quoting Joe, "It's in your roots; in your blood.  It starts with your parents and the example they've set for you."  Paris people and Paris culture are key reasons the company continues to excel.
